What to Do about Websites That Have Been Removed from the Web

As many of you have discovered, the excellent websites once maintained by Barbara Jeffries and Betty Fink are no longer available on the internet. Since then, several of you have managed to track down archived versions of it and have kindly sent me the URL so that I could post it here for the rest of you. The trouble is that each time it seems to be only a matter of time before someone blocks these archive sites.

When there are links below, if you click on them and they don't work, it's fine if you want to let me know this. However, I have to tell you that often, there is nothing I can do to fix this for you. At the moment, I do have a link to provide for you. Good luck!

When you click on the links, you'll get an error message. You can then go up to the address bar and remove the tilde (that's this: ~) and then hit enter, and you should get the original page. Many thanks to Warren Mitchell for working out how to do this and letting me know!
