George S. Haswell, M. D.

Dr. George S. Haswell was born in 1868 and is a son of Isaac M. Haswell, who is a farmer. Dr. Haswell was graduated from the Troy High School in 1889, and then from the Albany Medical College in 1892. He began his practice in New York and then settled in Watervliet, where he has won the confidence of a large circle of people of his native town. Dr. Haswell, although so young, is a Mason of the Order of the Mystic Shrine and the Knights of the Ancient Essenic Order. He was elected coroner of Albany county in November, 1896. In 1893 he married Alice, daughter of Edward H. Wiswall, of Colonie, by whom he has one daughter, Mildred.
